We have been a leading company in Residential Block Management sector for over 35 years, making us one of most established Agents in the business. At Hillcrest, we only specialise in Leasehold Management. We offer bespoke packages to suit your individual needs; whether you are looking for the full day-to-day management of your property, an Accounts Only Service or simply for us to arrange your buildings insurance lists.

Our History

Formed in 1985 by Arthur G. W. Jenner, Hillcrest was created to offer a much-needed Residential Block Management service in a market that was lacking a definitive combination of trusted construction industry knowledge and solid financial based services.

Throughout the late eighties and early nineties the company grew and with it, a good reputation for putting personal contact and attention to detail at the top of its priorities.

With the growth of the business, a new family member, Arthur Jenner Jnr., joined the company, bringing with him a 20 year background in quantity surveying and a desire to develop the personable and ethical service that Hillcrest had become known for.

In 2004, an opportunity arose to purchase a property portfolio from another agent in the Bristol area. This led to the formation of Bristol Property Management and offices were established in the Whiteladies Road area of Clifton.

The rapid expansion of the Bristol office encouraged the Jenner’s, in 2006, to take the step of incorporating both offices under one name; Hillcrest Estate Management Limited. The continued growth of the company prompted the Bristol office to relocate to larger premises in Grove Road in April 2009. The new office offers the team and visiting clients more space and still keeps us centrally located to the majority of our properties.

In 2018, the Jenners sold their shares in the company to the Trinity Property Group. Hillcrest continues to operate autonomously with now greater support and financial backing from a larger organisation.

We aim to continue our growth by delivering exceptional levels of client service, through a competitive pricing structure and excellent communications, whilst maintaining a personal and friendly approach throughout the company. Our ultimate aim is to add value to your investment whether you are a Leaseholder, Freeholder, professional Landlord or property developer.

  • 4 star review  I have owned a flat in a block managed by Hillcrest for 14 years and am now a director of the management company for the block. I am confident that the building is very well-maintained and apart from a blip for 2 years when the individual agent allocated to the building was less attentive, the standard of advice and service has been excellent. I particularly value the good communication and that an individual agent is allocated to the building so that knowledge of the building and relationships with the flat owners can be well-developed. As a director I also highly value the responsiveness and support regarding issues arising and regular updates on action taken. Having a reserve fund that is regularly paid into and a managing agent to manage the essential large projects in a Grade II listed building, such as external redecoration and roof renewal is, in my view, essential and removes the worry from managing such a building.
